Golf course review of Houghton le Spring Golf Club

played in winter and it was average at best. mostly winter greens, quite boggy underfoot and largely unenjoyable. Kids steal the flags regularly on a couple of the holes so youre aiming towards nothing. In no hurry to go back.

Golf course review of Houghton le Spring Golf Club

Course in great condition despite the very bad weather conditions of late. Quite hilly in parts. Unable to use Clubhouse as the Pro,s Shop was closed and code required for entry. Current Green fees for this class of course are very reasonable. Every one I met were very friendly and helpful

Very friendly pro. and members,excellent facilities and food.Would recommend a visit cos course is great even after the inclement weather.
