This course is for me personally an excellent place for beginners to golf. I love this course as it challenges me as I am not so good!

Nice looking and challenging without being over the top. A nice course for all handicaps to play on, in pleasant surroundings.
Extremely well priced.

The course has suffered a little in the dry summer so far, but is still very playable.
Once all of the current GUR (and there is quite a bit) has recovered the new layout course has the potential to be excellent.
The new hole 1 and lengthened hole 9 really add to the course, both have strategically placed bunkers the make you think about club choice and shot direction.
The clubhouse is slightly below standard and could do with a revamp / rebuild.
Friendly staff and good prices make up for this though.
Overall a challenging course for most players, will only get better in time.

The revised course now in play, the addition of the par 5 is a plus, and the new hole @ 1 will be a plusonce it is bedded in. Overall considering the amount of work being done here the course looks and plays well

Lots of improvements going on under the new ownership, course is of a very good standard now, new grass driving range has just been added to complement the existing floodlit bays.
The new first hole and par 5 to replace 8 and 9 will be open next spring, which will make the course more interesting. New bunkers have just been added to the 4th hole. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

Lot of work done over winter, changes should be done by July which will bring a Par 5. The changes made are well planned and the course considering rcent weather was in really good condition. Posted one of my best scores here today.

The course was in very good condition for so early in the year.
The course is ideal for learning the game, its fair and fairways are good, greens well maintained. No par 5's.
