The course was rearranged and established in 1991 as a compact links type course, with many natural hazards, such as quarries, water hazards and grass bunkers which provide a very challenging test for low handicap players, and yet giving the average player 18 holes of interesting and sporting golf.
A hallmark of the course is the very diversity of the holes with no two alike thus creating an above average challenge to golfers of all abilities with many thought-provoking shots required to keep the mind focused.Book a Tee Time

not to be played when wet but a buggy helps,
interesting to play over a road checking stance,address,swing and then having to check for cars etc --very unusual,dont let your spouse drive the buggy,quarrys are deep by there very nature,
one of those courses that i would imagine gets better and better the more you play it but for me once or twice a year is enuff

Very challenging heathland course with a links feel. Some narrow undulating fairways but with quality, tight greens. If your 'Mr or mrs Parkland' then this course is going to be well outside your comfort zone!

Super! A* I played 18 holes and at the end wanted to go back round. Such a great mix of links and parklands gold.

The course wasnt easy to play. Plenty of tough holes. However, i found some greens were poorly maintained. hundreds of sheep were on one of the bigger fairways and there shite to put it nicely was all over some of the greens. The windy weather when i played made the course tricky but overall its worth playing.
