Hintlesham Golf Club
Set in 150 tranquil acres of rolling Suffolk countryside, Hintlesham Golf Club is a very attractive parkland course widely recognised as one of the finest in the PGA's East of England Region. Designed by Martin Hawtree, the 6,602 yard layout has been wonderfully moulded into the undulating parkland of rural Suffolk. Featuring beautifully manicured fairways, superbly contoured, consistently paced all-weather greens, devious water hazards and a host of strategically placed bunkers, Hintlesham provides a most enjoyable round of golf to all levels of golfer.

Location
Location: Travelling north-east on the A12, proceed towards Ipswich town centre at the A12/A14 interchange roundabout. Turn left at the second set of traffic lights onto the A1071. Continue over the next roundabout and you will enter Hintlesham village after about two miles. The entrance is just past the church on the right-hand side. Travelling south-east on the A14, take the Great Blakenham exit (B1113) and turn right towards Sproughton. Continue straight on and through Sproughton. At the next roundabout turn right onto the A1071 and enter Hintlesham as above.

Lovely course in good nick.
Bunkers everywhere so make sure you have your bucket and spade!! - Although they are avoidable.
Fairways are nice and wide and the rough alongside is not too thick if you do end up in there.
Par 3's Very tough.
Overall a lovely place and will definately go back!The Course

An excellent course however the summer has been harsh to the fairways and the greens have suffered as well, but a well managed course

Great friendly club - a fair test. One or two average holes but some real gems as well. Good facilities and friendly staff and members. Recommended.

A beautiful setting for a golf course, and it has some really challenging holes, especially the par 3 4th which is a fairly long carry over water to an elevated green! The 17th has undergone massive changes over the past few years and together with the 18th makes for a very impressive finish. All in all, a very good course.

COURSE IN GOOD CONDITION. ENJOYED HOLES 1-9 15,18 THE ONES IN MIDDLE SEEMED TO LAKE THE SAME FEEL AS THE REST. STILL OVERALL VERY ENJOYABLE COURSE TO PLAY.
