Hinksey Heights Golf Club
Fairways and greens encourage golfers to employ their 'Course Management' skills. The course provides a challenge to match the demands of open competition, company days, golf societies or group organisers. For larger numbers of players the organisers can vary difficulty by means of choice of tees, and pin placing.
David Heads, who designed, built and still maintains the course, is proud of the fact that the really excellent greens are in play 52 weeks of the year.
The 3rd hole is undoubtedly the feature hole and we recommend a look at the Panoramic views of the course. Contact Information

A good challenge for golfers of all abilities, wide fairways, with thick rough and nice greens. When the wind picks up it gets a whole lot trickier. The pro shop and 19th hole are small but functional. This is my home course and fun and not too expensive to play.

Ok but nothing to fancy. An inland links type of course due to the wind factor.

This course has intersting views over Oxford. The main plus is it remains open whatever the weather. Greens are small but very difficult. It's a better place to play in good weather as when the wind blows it can spoil things. A lot of long walks between holes. This is a course I would recommend if you were using 2fore1 vouchers as otherwise it does not provide value for money.

a very open course that is quite forgiving for off shots. Quite confusing however as there are not enough signs to show you the way round to the next tee off area and the tee's are not clearly marked. They have packed a lot into the area with a choice of 3 courses for all different levels. the 9 hole spires course is very good for a quick practice round.

Views over Oxford on clear day are great from the course. Some of the holes weren't overly exciting with few hazards. Some good ones though. Enjoyed the 9th and 18th most as both feature well positioned water hazards to make holes quite challenging. Course was in fairly good condition but did suffer a bit with the heavy rain in certain parts. Worth giving it a go though!

Nice course, but vistors may find difficulty navigating from some greens to next tee due to the lack of 'next tee' signs. Greens challenging.
