Heworth GolfClub is a gem of a course with views of York Minster. This flat, tree lined course boasts some of the most picturesque holes in York. The course is a true challenge to all abilities and keeping your drives straight is a must, followed by an accurate iron into the well-protected greens. Founded in 1911 the course is located approximately a mile and a quarter from the city centre. A warm welcome awaits you.
Parties between 6 – 40 can be catered for and prices range start from just £15 through to £30. Discounts are available for parties in excess of 10 people.

Cheap deals to be had here. Shared greens on some of the holes stop it from being a very good course, but enjoyable none the less. Recommended for a change of scenery from your usual course.

We played the course after the weekend that was very windy, there was a lot of debrie about on the course, a number of the holes are doubled up as well so as you are playing the front 9 some players are playing the back 9 on the same hole, this was quite confusing and held up play
