My dad has been a member there for a number of years now so i go along and play there sometimes. It is simply amazing. The greens are lovely and the fairways challenging. Overall great course

I played this course in early october, and it was in simply brilliant condition. Tees, fairways and greens were fantastic. Tough opener, long par 4 was followed by a tricky uphill par 3. All holes were different(no back to back up and down par 4's here)with some real stunners. True running greens that were a joy to putt on. Simply put, A RIGHT LITTLE CRACKER. Well worth a visit.

I have played the Henley club many times and always found the club staff very professional and extremely welcoming. The course itself is one of those that always seems to be in tip top condition. The greens, even at their slowest, are true, run well and in great condition. The 1st is one of the hardest par 4s you will ever play, mainly due to the difficult drive and the landing area being very uneven, making all but the longest drives run downhill and away to the right making the 2nd shot very tricky.
The remainder of the course is varied and very interesting, with undulating holes leading up to a plateau of longer flat holes. The views up and down the valley are fantastic, with some very impressive houses (some with famous occupants) looking back across at you.
A welcome break is taken at the half way house before the final 9, again playing back down the hill into the clubhouse. I highly recommend this course, even if it's a little out of your normal price range, its well worth it. The quality of the playing surface is something you will find yourself comparing lesser courses against!
