Last day of our trip, we had extremely strong winds making this a very difficult day. Balls were oscillating constantly and sometimes being blown away from where they stopped on the green. Really enjoyed the course despite this, amazing views from the top of the hill and the course in great condition. rough has been cut back making this is a bit fairer although if you do hit a particularly bad shot you will be punished. Staff in both the visitor and members clubhouse, starter hut and pro shop were top drawer. Would love to play again.

The ultimate in golfing enjoyment
The ultimate in golfing enjoyment with 3 courses of pure Scottish links enjoyment. Number 3 is the shorter but no less of a challenge for its length. Excellent value, excellent facilities and clubhouse and a very warm welcome to boot too.(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 86 Handicap: 18.9)

Proper Links Course
Second visit back to Gullane, this time to play No. 2, and it doesn't disappoint. A proper test, with the rough long enough to make it interesting, especially when the wind got up! Some amazing views from the course and a great practice area, all you can really want for a golfing day out!(Round played: Jul 2021 - Score: 85 Handicap: 11.7)

Spectacular views
Slightly hilly to begin with but once you finish the 3rd you'll have a fairly flat course. The views from the top over Edinburgh are unbelievable. The course, the staff and the challenge of the course are 2nd to none. If you only play one course in East Lothian make it gullen 2 am FCC you won't be disappointed.Reviewer Rating

Good, but not as good as expected....
Warm welcome, but I'm afraid the course (number 2) doesn't deserve the ranking it gets. Some much better courses locally. Great views but no real stand out holes.Reviewer Rating

Great course as always in great condition.

Enjoyed playing Gullane no. 3 today, the clubhouse had great service. Bacon roll was faultless and so was the pot of tea. The course was in fantastic condition for November, the greens are quite undulating and this can be a challenge when the greens are quick like today, personally I enjoyed putting on them and I would expect them to be this way as it is a links course. The fairways are well maintained and they were firm underfoot which meant you could get a bit of extra distance off the tee. Overall I enjoyed the experience and would recommend the course as it wasn't too long and it is well maintained, the greens were in fantastic condition and the undulations make it a challenge to play on.

Great links golf
Links golf on two height levels. Once up the hill after the 4th you come out onto a plateau will the most wonderful views across the Firth of Forth and inland to East Lothian. I used the visitors clubhouse not the main one.Reviewer Rating
