Grange Park Golf Club
The 18 hole course Grange Park is a relatively flat parkland course with several water hazards that come into play. Five new holes on the back nine have had trees transplanted, and with gorse lined fairways, it leaves for a very tight drive. The par 4 third is a great hole that offers panoramic views of the surrounding area from the elevated tee box. There are two fairway bunkers that need to be avoided here and then an approach shot to a tough to reach, well guarded green. Par 3 Golf Course The 9 Hole Par 3 Course is a great place to get started in Golf. The course is always in good condition and our greenkeepers take as much care and pride in preparing this course for play as they do our main 18 hole course.Contact Information

Not a bad little par 27 course actually. The pro shop is nicely stocked and has a golf simulator in it. There are plenty of refreshements available too. You can play this course for around a fiver.
The tee boxes aren't very good but the greens are very well kept indeed. They are quick and mostly smooth. Fairways aren't important on par 3 holes as we know so I'm not really bothered that they are hard to chip off due to bare ground.
The variety of holes is pretty good too. Long short and mid holes with either big bunkers, trees or bushes are all on offer here. It's not a case of hit and hope. Some thought is required on a few of the holes.
I like to play here whenever I have a spare hour. The only problem I have with this course is that they let far too many groups on the course in such a short space of time. Last Sunday I was waiting on every tee for 20 minutes!!!!! And when we arrived on the first tee there were 6 groups waiting to tee off! Something needs to be done about this. Overall this is a pretty good course for a fiver! The Course

Excellent set up here. I will definitely play here again, in fact im playing here this Sunday(16th). Some nice holes and a couple of stupid ones as well. The par 5 11th is a 90 degree dog leg but you cant have a go over the corner with the driver because of nets all the way along the left hand side, par 5's are risk/reward holes in my book!!! Greens were very good considering the wet weather, as were the fairways. The staff were very helpful as well and sandwich and coffee before were good and the meal after was ok as well. Another fault being no signage to the driving range so a bit awkward to find as its across the road but this is a minor gripe. Go play it great value for money.

The greens and fairways are in very good condition and play quite fast, the rough is not too punishing unless you find yourself way off course.
There were five new holes built a few years ago and they are coming along very nicely, once the trees and bushes have grown a bit more you wouldn't know they weren't always there.
You will nearly always see some groundskeepers working about the course, and are generally very polite.
The bar and restaurant are very reasonable for prices and there is a fair variety of food on offer, and very tasty it is too.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the green fees are quite cheap compared to the other courses around here.
There is also a nine hole pitch and putt course along side the driving range if you want to brush up on your short game.
