Not bad for a municipal course. Tees could do with a bit of work on them. Watch out for the 5th (nice climb).

A municipal course you either love or hate.
I love it!
Some really short holes but a couple of very demanding lon and hilly holes.
The are a few public footpaths across it and it is opan for all to walk across, this does affect the fairways and greens.
The green staff do an excellent job in maintaining it. Go on give it a try!

The first five holes on this course are a killer - not necesarily in terms of your round but in terms of your stamina! You tee off the first on a cliff edge (practically), with the first and fourth downhill and third and fifth climbing the cliff.

To say this is a Municipal course the greens are in excellent condition. Af few tough holes, especially cardiac hill, but then Golf's not supposed to be easy for us amateurs.

An excellent municipal course unfortunately positioned in the wild west of leeds(well not quite). Much better without the school that used to border it but can still suffer from wandering youths and dogs who seem to like to help themselves to any balls they come across whether on the fairway or even the greens. However this is a minor problem and the main pain is the wandering dog walkers from the nearby park and the occasional picnickers who don't seem to understand about golf courses and flying balls. That said the course is fun to play with some lovely holes and it offers a real challenge to most players. Great value for money and a friendley golf shop adds to the well kept course which boasts a near vertical par 4 but no par fives unfortunately.

Fairways and greens aren't the best but it's not bad value. Fun to play and quite a few tricky holes.
