Played after 2 weeks of heavy rain so course very wet so difficult to judge completely.
Enjoyable course but wont be rushing back, id give 3/5 maximum.

Farthingstone is a challenging course set in very attractive countryside with wonderful views across Northamptonshire hills. The course is quite hilly which, combined with several water features, bunkers and narrow fairways makes it a real test for all but the most accurate hitters. Be prepared, your handicap will be severely tested!

stayed here for a night a few months back, paid 79 pounds each for bed breakfast evening meal and four pints complete with unlimited golf, must say i thourougly enjoyed it, course was in good condition, some tough holes but plenty of hazards making it very interesting, think the 11th was a good hole, par 3 over a valley, would definatly play again,

Very friendly club in heart of lovely countryside. Good golfing test with interesting holes. Plenty of elevation adding to the mix.

went on there during winter time but owners allowed us to go around again how good is that
so we paid for 1 round only but played 27 holes
love the course very challenging and no shot lie is the same so different everytime it is played

Played 2/8/09, course in very good condition, greens rolling very well. Used strokesaver which was very accurate and Pro's tips were well made, unlike some inane comments that can sometimes appear on these guides. Rough not penal but grass is very thick so good technique important. Lots of rain so bunkers were very compact. Good etiquette with regards to pitch marks, most repaired. Stand out holes 5th, 9th, 11th and 17th.
