What the club says: Farrington Golf Club is home to the Duchy and Manor courses. The par 72, 6,600 yards (white tee), Duchy Course was opened in 1995 and has matured into a beautifully conditioned variety of parkland and lakeland golf holes. The par 27 Manor Course is a great place to use all the clubs in the bag. With holes varying from 80 yards to 240 yards this is definitely no pitch and putt.

There is more water on 4 other holes (7th,8th,12th and 17th).
The 12th is a picturescue drop hole par 4 - drivable for the longer hitters but with the green situated on the far side of a small lake......maybe "discretion is the better part of valour".
A dog-leg par 5 13th follows, before a brief respite in the form of the straight stroke index 18, short par 4 14th - make the most of it!!!
The 17th can be a card wrecker with the fairway runing between two lakes and ending in a challenging 2 tier green - cup location can make your second shot a truly "risk or reward" experience.
For those wishing to make a day of it - there is also a challenging 9 hole par 3 course for a morning warm up and excellent food available in the well appointed club house.
Located 9 or so miles south of Bristol - just off the A37.
Its great fun - but as a member I may be a little biased.
