Farrington Golf Club
The Par 72 Duchy Course was opened in 1995 and has matured into a beautifully conditioned variety of parkland and lakeland golf holes. Measuring 6600 yards from the white tees, 6300 from the yellow tees and 6000 from the green tees, the course can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. The undulating U.S.G.A. specification greens will test even the best putters and the excellent drainage guarantees all year round golf.
The Par 27 Manor Course is a great place to use all the clubs in the bag. With holes varying from 80 yards to 240 yards this is definitely no pitch
and putt. With the greens the same specification as the Duchy Course and plenty of bunkers lurking, all golfers will enjoy this hidden gem.
Farrington also boasts some of the best practice facilities in the area. With a large putting green, extensive chipping green with practice bunkers, 16 bay covered floodlit driving range with power tees, 6 grass bays and a 300 yard long practice ground, it is no surprise players come from miles around to use them.
The well stocked professional’s shop offers friendly advice from PGA qualified professionals as well as a state of the art indoor club fitting and coaching studio. Contact Information

Great all round members club ,also catering for a small ammount of open golfers. Couse is very challenging with a lot of well positioned hazzards, Greens and fairways always well cut ,mostly on the fast side and usually plays as you find it according to weather, first couple of holes can get slightly waterlogged if excess rain. Excellent club facilities, good pro shop and range on site, practice area also . has within the bounds of the main course2nd 9 hole course

The first 5 holes can be a little soft in wet weather - but once clear of those with your scorecard relatively intact - its time for the fun to begin.
There is more water on 4 other holes (7th,8th,12th and 17th).
The 12th is a picturescue drop hole par 4 - drivable for the longer hitters but with the green situated on the far side of a small lake......maybe "discretion is the better part of valour".
A dog-leg par 5 13th follows, before a brief respite in the form of the straight stroke index 18, short par 4 14th - make the most of it!!!
The 17th can be a card wrecker with the fairway runing between two lakes and ending in a challenging 2 tier green - cup location can make your second shot a truly "risk or reward" experience.
For those wishing to make a day of it - there is also a challenging 9 hole par 3 course for a morning warm up and excellent food available in the well appointed club house.
Located 9 or so miles south of Bristol - just off the A37.
Its great fun - but as a member I may be a little biased. The Course
