This is a good course for practicing, fairly flat but some challenging twists.

Decent flat course, not in the best condition but good layout and good fun anyway. very cheap round and buggy hire make up for it. ok bar too with view over the lake. if you do full 18 holes theres the problem with people just starting on the back 9, we had clear front 9 but very congested back 9

I do enjoy playing here as i find it relaxing and the new people who have taken it over have improved it but with that comes extra cost and £22.50 at the weekend is a bit over the top when i can play far better courses for less.

This course is fine for a high Handicapper/beginner like myself, the people on reception are friendly and helpfull and it wasn't too busy, so no stress about taking your time or a few mulligans!
The fairways were well kept and most of the greens were good enough although some were covered in wormcasts or goose crap!
Untill my golf improves this course is more than adequate for my needs. Recommended.

The course is still very wet in place with flooding near waters edge and in many bunkers. It's a shame that not all players respect the greens and repare pitch marks as many of the greens are in a bad way.

The course is no owned by the council & need to do some seriuos work to get it up to scratch. Saying that it is always quiet & you can get around in good time.

Have a good par 3 course for praticing those approach shots & putts.
The 18 hole course is better than it was a few years back but not quite there just yet, up & coming though
