Etchinghill Golf Club
Opened in May 1995, the original 18 hole par 70 cousre has gained popular reputation among many golfers, and a further nine has been added. The course is laid out across two distinctly different settings, with eighteen holes carved into the hillside overlooking the Elham Valley and the third nine extending over parkland. Etchinghill offers extensive facilities to complement the 27 hole course and particularly welcome families and encourages beginners.

First time I played this course, I have played the Lea's course once prior. Very nice course for all abilities. Fairways and green where all in excellent condition considering the recent poor weather.
Only strange point was the public footpath that disected the course (Passing cyclist made for a measure of entertainment)

a challenging course you need to hirer a buggy otherwise if you are not fit it will take its toll, both the short & 18 holes fairways and greens are kept
well however, if you end up in the rough forget looking for your ball, the facilities are very good and the food enjoyable .

A fantastic course - my personal favourite within the immediate area, however there is very little control kept with regard to T off times and slow play on the course, therefore avoid at weekends.

Very well maintained course with excellent greens and teeing areas. A few hilly holes but not too difficult for a high handicapper like myself. The smoke hazard on one of the holes was interesting! :-)

very good course have played a few times but a course i have yet to master very hilly and slopes feet allways above or below ball and the rough is thick

Play this course from time to time, it is testing, hilly and indeed one yet to still master, when I firwst starting playing this course, I was a 22 handicapper and struggling to break 100, now I am trying to break 90, this course slopes in may places but is suited to low-medium handicappers, nevertheless we keep coming back for more, if I can break 90 regularly here I feel I can play anywhere with a decent return score, greens can be very fast in he summer when dry, not absolutely falt like some courses and therefore requires thought, some interestingholes, not always requiring a long hit, but more of placement. Very hilly and suggest buggy if unfit, of the mature. Enjoy, will test your golf.
