What the club says: Built on two levels, the course offers wide and lush fairways on the upper section - with mature oak trees and attractive lakes dissecting the 11th and 12th fairways on the level below. One of the finest holes in the west country, the spectacular 170 yard, par-3 seventh has been described as the most picturesque in the county. It plunges from an elevated tee to a large green 100 feet below. Every hole presents a new and different challenge and with four alternative length courses, it is suitable for every standard of golfer, from the novice to the very low handicapper.

To be fair the weather the previous 10 days had been terrible so the fairways had not been cut. It was like playing in the rough on every shot. The rough was well like playing in the weeds. Nice course though - can't wait to play in better conditions.

I played the course today in a society day , i know we have had a bit of rain but no where near enough to warrant the condition of the greens they were vertualy unplayable with no possible chance of reading a true putt, the fairways were reasonable but boggy in places but that cant be helped , troubl was that the green keepers didnt seem to have any form of etiquette what so ever even to the point that at one point the green keeper driving the trackter cutting the rough drove over and cut the rough in the area we were searching for a ball !!! over all not impressed at all with the course and keepers and feel robeed having to pay your over the top rates for the quality of course!!

the golf club is good but its need some improvement particular on the fairways and definitely on the green its a bit bumpy.

Have not playe here for many years - course ok but would be better to play in summer - does get very boggy in wet weather
