Radlett Park (Elstree) Golf Club
Watling Street, Elstree, Hertfordshire, WD6 3AA United Kingdom
The courses undulating nature and strategically placed hazards including several lakes and streams which will have you using brain rather than sheer brawn. The challenges that lie in wait between some of the tees and pins will have the lower handicapper scratching his head in puzzlement but they won't overly intimidate the mid to high handicapper. Measuring a total length of 6223 yards over its eighteen holes, from the yellow tees, it is kept in good condition virtually all year round by the meticulous efforts of the greenkeeping staff.

Nice course. Good greens and new drainage. Brand new clubhouse just about to open.

Easy walking course with some interesting holes. Badly let down by the greens the day we played, 16 greens hollowed and covered with red sand.18th is a real tester as only the biggest of hitters will get a view of a steep 3 tier green. Several dog legs where the Driver has to stay in the bag to avoid trouble. The new club house & range looks impressive & should be a boost to the club once open. Paid £20 through teetimes great value despite the shoddy greens.

members are very rude, had incidents with 2 different members.... course is ok, there is no 'rough' so mean t shots can be wayward and little punishment. front 9 are basicallly the same holes .... very boring. back 9 much better apart from a 200 yard par 4 which is basically a par 3. club house is shabby. overal ok decent value for money £15 at certain times. no stock in the proshop at all. but kept in good condition bar the leaves which as mentionned makes finding t shots that are on the fairway difficult to find.

The course itself is currently in the process of undergoing some significant changes and all look as if they'll bode well for the future. All of the water features have had the water reeds removed for far better drainage and is already looking tidier and the course is firming up nicely. All the debris has been removed also along with waste foilage around the edges of the water which makes for better views and easy now to see where your ball has gone on these holes now. Fairways are in excellent condition and the greens are improving too, with the exception of holes 3,4,5 and 7 the greens are excellent. Tee boxes are mostly even although 3,4,7,12 and 17 are very uneven and are littered with broken sea shells which are used for pathways and get trodden through the whole course (very unsightly and difficult to walk on until really broken in and then they tend to get on the greens which are really the only other problem on the course). Would be much better if wood chip was used on the paths but can't see that happening in near future. Off course the clubhose is small but very nice, friendly and always something going on. Food is good but a little pricey. (Over 5 quid for a sandwich is steep in my book!) New clubhouse is being built and will be a bit bigger but could've been so much better had they added a sauna or gym (or both!). Overall a round of golf midweek for £25 for a visitor is ok value, but there are better deals out there by far. Add another fiver for a weekend round. Memberships aren't bad value as they go for £975 for 7 day member and £595 for 5 day member.

Friendly clubhouse, reasonably priced and never too busy on a Saturday. Not brilliant in Winter but the course holds up well in general. Back nine has better more challenging holes than the front 9.

A few holes had large amounts of leaves on the ground, which are white this does not help finding even straight drives.

Introduced to Elstree by a colleague and have revisited several times. Am now investigating membership there. Back nine more varied than the front nine, but all 18 holes are interesting and a good challenge. Have never had to play off temp. greens and tees.
