What the club says: Founded in 1906, Elgin Golf Club is a testing heathland course, fully justifying its claim to be one of the finest inland courses in the northern part of Scotland. It's always kept in immaculate condition by the greenkeeping staff which only adds to the beauty of the panoramic views - north over the city of Elgin, and south, to the hills stretching to the distant Cairngorm Mountains. One of the main features at Elgin are the eight par 4 holes over 400 yards, which will test anyone's game.

Great course layout
Lovely course layout. Greens were in superb condition, running very true.Some very tight driving holes, excellent range of par 3s. Well worth a visit, and, if you go for a twilight round, exceptional value.

Fantastic course worth visiting great views can play long when wind is blowing has great facilities and driving range to far away for your warm up before playing.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 89 Handicap: 15.7)

Excellent condition but quite a boring course with long and straight repetitive holes. In desperate need of a good par 5. Some of the members I found to be very rude and ignorant. Be prepared for slow play expect rounds of over 5 hours.
