Location: From London: * From Exeter, take the M5 until it joins the A38 * Continue on the A38 and please ignore the first sign to Plympton * Continue to the next exit for Plympton which is on the Marsh Mills roundabout * At Marsh Mills roundabout turn right towards Plympton on the B3416. * Pass the Texaco Garage on the left and turn left into Larkham Lane * Go right over mini roundabout. At the end of this road turn right then immediately left into Crossway. * At the end of this road turn left. * The hotel is situated one mile on the right. Postcode: PL7 5EB

Great course, great views, freindly staff, their is 5 holes you can play for par or take the corners on and atack the greens.

What was a tight 9 hole course now extended to 18.
a challenging course to a high handicapper.some of the holes are quite steep and on the day I played there where a lot of buggys on the course which was a little aggravating as there was always someone pushing to play through. I later discovered that because of the hilly terrain of the course Buggys where the prefered choice by many.

This place is tight! You get some stunning views as you make your way round and get to spot some lovely wildlife, I even had a family of ducks following me for a bit (quack quack)!
The greens were having a bit of a going over as I was going round so very changable (as one would expect) and I had a complete mare...
The Fairways are well kept and generous in place and punishing in others. The bunkers on the other hand, although well maintained, the sand was mega hard (maybe the weather though).
The Hills just go on FOREVER and as the other guys have said its a bit of a slog. The layout due to lack of space is very up and down itself and feels quite closed in.
The Hotel has MASSIVE rooms and the staff were brilliant. Food was what one would expect to recieve in a B&B not a hotel/spa/golf club type place. I suppose rustic and common place would be an apt description.
All in all, Great course, great hotel & well worth a visit but unless you are uber fit then pay the extra for a buggy.

Very challenging course, with unforgiving borders to fairways.Thoroughly enjoyable although a stiff walk with a pull trolley.

Fantastic course, lovely hotel, very hilly though would recommend a buggy for £20 for those who are not use to walking up very steep hills.

Good course in summer, gets waterlogged quite quickly though so wouldn't recommend in the wet! Quite easy, especially the back nine where you can score well. I thoroughly enjoy playing Elfordleigh.
