Elemore Golf Club
The course itself encompasses two par 5's,two water holes, some lengthy par 4's,an elevated tee or two, at least one tricky dogleg, but several opportunities to score well providing you can hit a fairway or two and sink a putt on the generous greens.
The course changes direction several times therefore if it is slightly windy it helps as much as hinders, and the ninth green and tenth tee are adjacent to the clubhouse therefore a halfway house is well within reach should you need a pick me up midway through the round.Contact Information

A good, fairly challenging course, with some fairly difficult holes a dream at the price - would recommend any one to give this course a try

With care and attention this course could be a real gem. There are some really interesting holes and at no point do you feel like your going up and down a field. The 'however comes with the condition of the course. The greens are scuffy, with comical 3foot high flag and alternative pin positions left open. I didn't see a rake in any of the bunkers. And would could potentially be very pretty water holes, spoilt by rubbish being dumped in the ponds.
Give this place a few quid, a good pro and an experienced greenkeeper it'll be a cracker, as it is though I wont be back in a hurry. The Course

greens had not been cut so very difficult to read. no rakes in bunkers and very poor sand but take away these negatives and the course is superb. signature hole has got to be the par 3 12th only 104yds onto a green jutting into the water rest of the course has excellent holes and wide fairways
overall very good course but minor problems need to be overcome. The Course

For the price paid, it really is good value. £10 after 2pm during week.
Course is ok, if a bit water logged on back 9. (about 5 holes where the hole had water in it!!)
Complete lack of signage anywhere made it bit more difficult to navigate, plus there is the local potential hazard of kids stealing your golf ball!!
Two water holes were nice.
Facilitues ok, but at this price cant really complain. The Course

Good value for £10, greens bobbly and slow, needs some signs to tell you where the next tees are and some more visible fairway yardage markers

For £14 including trolley hire on a Sunday morning you can't go wrong. The course is obviously not the best you'll play, but is better than some I've played at twice the price. A bit muddy today, but again I've played courses that have been worse.

Played here a few times the last on 17/09/09, yes some great holes 4,8,9,12 but let down by the rough among the trees, and the quality of the bunkers. This could be a cracking course but crying out for money to be spent on it. Friendly staff, canny clubhouse cant be faulted.

Decent enough course, some nice par and birdie able holes, even for the high handicapper, but some long challenging holes to. Grass on the fairways isnt the best but the greens are usually kept in decent enough condition. Clubhouse is very hospitable after a hard round, reasonably priced beer and food. Not a bad round for the price.
