I played this course and think it is one of the best i have played. The course is in the best condition, you would see the likes at the Masters or at the Open. Some tough holes but also some good ones to. I have a high handicap and was playing with two low handicapers, and was able to keep up with them at most holes.

This is quite a new course about 20 miles outside Belfast. It is difficult enough to find but it is a very pleasant surpirse when you do. They have had a really big facelft in the last few years and the clubhouse is very impressive with a great restaurant and excellent facilities. The course itself is quite tricky. The first hole is a dog leg left to right par 5 - the dog leg is almost at 90 degrees. I have played the course on numerous occasions and to be honest it has been in great condition every time. The greens are always kept very well. It still has some maturing to do. The front nine is very new with lots of very young trees - given time to develop this will turn into a superb course. The back nine feels older with much more developed woodland and older trees. It looks to me as if the front nine has been fairly recently acquired to be developed. All in all a lovely course and fairly easy for visitors to get a round here as well. Their web site has an excellent online tee time booking facility which is particularly useful.
