The current course at Nerston on the edge of East Kilbride celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2007 and is considered to be one of Lanarkshire's best tests of golf.
# The Nerston course is a mature, challenging parkland course measuring 6402 yards and offers a great variety of holes; genuine 3 shot par 5 holes often played into the prevailing wind,
# testing par 3's,
# well manicured fairways fringed by a vast assortment of mature trees,
# well presented greens which reach their peak in the summer months to provide fine putting surfaces.

The course is in fantastic condition and the greens are very well kept, although not very challenging.
Nice wide fairways and resonably short cut rough, (to fing your ball in) All in all a very nice course especially for the High handicapper.
I enjoyed it and hopefully will be back again.

Good course, good condition, taken on by a member so very good value-some challenging holes.
