Dukinfield Golf ClubOur signature hole is the Par 3, "Gorse Hill". As the picture on the left shows, the tee shot requires maximum precision, a shot missed short, right or left ends up in trouble. This hole is one of the locally famous quarry holes, the long quarry is a risk reward 271 yard par 4, which leaves the golfer with a decision of whether to try and drive the green, even though out of bounds is left and right, or hit a testing lay up shot with gorse and rough waiting for an errant strike. The rest of the course has several testing par 3s and it's said that if you play the par 3s well at Dukinfield, you will score well. Dukinfield also has "The Cricket Pitch" a testing dog-leg par four. Most players look to play this hole as a par five, which still remains a stern test; anybody walking off the green with a par, has a confidence boosting walk to the next tee! Together with the warm welcome Dukinfield always extends, we provide a great golfing experience on a course we are always proud of.
