Not a long course, and really it is one that should be easy enough for any half decent players. Not all of the holes are easy pars, but with the exception of the 17th most are easy enough to at least bogey. I have no idea what is the best way to play the 17th, as there seems to be no fairway you can stick too with an iron, and there is a ditch at driver distance to catch the rest.
The views are stunning, so it is made for an enjoyable, if not steep, walk.
The downside of the course appears to be that a number of fairways cross over each other, not all of the tees are well signposted, and I had to ask which green was the 12th because from the fairway I had to choose between two. I am thankful that I did because my initial reaction would have been to go for the wrong one.

An interesting challenge of golf with no bunkers and the land supposed to provide the test. We played when the wind was blowing too which added to the interest and made for a fun round of golf.
I would definitely go back as the views from the back 9 are awesome.

This course is an absolute gem in Scottsh golf it will be a crying shame if it has to close due to the current economic climate. If you are looking for a challenge then play Dollar, more so in the walking round as it is built on the hillside. The course is not long but this year I have played it 3 times and the last twice have been in the mid 70's which I was very pleased with.
