The 'front nine' is renowned as a real test for any golfer. The tree-line tight fairways of the par 4s are especially challenging. Wayward drives usually mean a difficult second shot or a chip out onto the fairway. To finish the 'front nine' is the dog-legged 495 yard 9th - a real birdie chance for straight hitters.
The 'back nine' has its own special holes too, including the long but fair par 5 13th. A particular favourite of many is the par 4 15th which has a copse on the right ready to devour golf balls from the slightly off-line drives of the bold who try to save yards by aiming up the right-hand side of the fairway!

A fairly well looked after course, most fairways are tree lined so need to be slightly careful off tees, greens run pretty true and are in decent nick. Clubhouse is a little old fashioned but staff and members are welcoming.

Nice level course, local authority owned but in generally good condition. Ideal for high handicapers or those wanting a steady round without to many problems

Not played golf for years but have started playing around Sinfin, really enjoy it as it is quite a flat course and is neither too easy nor too hard to play. Great price too

course is not marked well and can be difficult to locate next tee some greens are covered in leaves and therefor hard to get a good put in

Challenging front nine but very attacking back nine. A bit pricey at £14.50 a round. 2nd green was covered in leaves which is rare for winter. Used to be good value for money but is now overpriced, especially when kids are on the course(it is a public park).

excellent course in summer very tough front 9,good attaking back 9 goes on winter greens too easily when it rains.but for £7.50 a round u cant complain.

Doesn't score particularly well but don't let that put you off, it's a municipal course in a built up area, cheep and cheerful if a bit tatty. Considering this it's generally in decent condition during the summer but mostly temporary greens, muddy fairways and lots of leaf litter in winter.
Reasonably wide fairways but lots of trees make going off line a nightmare. No real stand out holes, but a pretty easy walk and ideal for an after work game. Selection of pick up balls always available from local urchins in exchange for cash or ciggies.
