Played the Championship course in July, booked through teeofftimes for £15. The front 9 is a parkland layout up hill and down dale, whereas the back nine is set up on top of the hills and is completely links golf. The course is probably set in one of the most fantastic surroundings I've played in and I can't recommend it enough. Every hole a gem.

Did a 2 night stay in February. Rooms good, everything you need. Food very good and staff very accomodating. Only negative was the lack of entertainment in evenings. Only a pool table and bar for after the meal. The course is difficult and narrow. Front nine very good, back nine a bit repetative to be honest but even in February I cannot remember one bobble or blemish on the greens. Bunkers were shocking, like playing off concrete, which is why only rated as good.

Very forgiving coarse with some tricky par 3s. I have been round there many times and would never get bored.

Stayed here for a 2 night break for only £60 (in mid Jan) and managed 3 days of golf on both courses. The Championship course is a joy, with many memorable holes including the Par 3 3rd, and the huge and winding par 5 4th. The 18th is a quality finishing hole across the pond to a green looked over by the clubhouse.
The 9 hole Dartmouth course is not be overlooked either - a great little warm-up for it's sister course!
Accommodation is perfectly adequate, and food was very reasonable. A small clubhouse, with enough room for a big tv and a pool table, gives a great atmosphere. Very very enjoyable. The Course

The Championship course is what it says. The layout of this lengthy course is superb and a joy to play. The upkeep is very good and makes a great course even better. at 7191 yards off the gold tees it is a long walk around of about 4 and a half miles. A buggy or trolley is a must here.
The facilities of a very good standard including a spa and gym centre, driving range, large putting green and extensively stocked pro shop.
Dartmouth has a feel of top class golf about it and once you've played there you will always remember it.The Course

Championship course is a cracker if you get it right but a brute if not in the latter case be prepared to lose a few balls. After a few rounds on the championship course every where else gets easier

8 of us played this course over 4 days in April 08, in total played 100 holes !! Great course and some lovely signature holes too. Need to be reatively fit to play this in my book, Tee's, Fairways and Greens were immaculate. If you intend staying and playing, you wont be dissapointed, a true test for any level of golfer
