We play this course quite often and enjoy the quality of the course and the facilities. It is a varied parkland course with some excellent holes, I love the 8th.

We played late afternoon just before 6. Greens were really green but quite slow, fairways had not been 'cut in' as i would have expected but were on the whole adequate. As we paid £13 i cannot complain and we just made it round before dark-9.30pm. It was slow go as mixed foresome had gone out before us and i imagine with a clearer run it would have been alot quicker. The clubhouse staff really are offputting and in fact quite rude-the pro who we met on a buggy was rather brash with his comments and when we have been there before it felt as though they went out of their way to be unhelpful instead of accomodating.
As a course goes i have played better in the near vacinity-The PAR 5's are far too short and it almost feels you are cheating when you play them-i am not a long hitter and hit 2 of them with a driver and a full 6 iron. The PAR 3s are ok and the 4s a little repetitive. Overall i would class the course as average and feel that Devon has better to offer.

Played on a 2 for 1 voucher. £36 between the two of us, but not made aware that this was for all day. In the future when I'm sure we will re-visit, will make sure to get there early when there is no club compititions on so we can get two rounds in.

this was the first time i had played this course and found it a great course to play, very open fairways and fast greens but not really many challenging holes but all in all a fun course to play.

A nice course run very well, not overly challenging but pleasant and rewarding for those who wish to play positive golf, would recommend a visit, be interesting to see how the reworked holes will feature now complete.

pound for pound this coures is about as good as it gets around devon, for £25 you will not get better value anywhere, you can pay more elswhere and some may say play a better course, but not for £25.
