What the club says: The club was formed in 1905 and is set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Snowdonia mountain range, overlooking Criccieth Castle and the stunning Cambrian coastline, this 9 hole course offers an unforgettable experience. The course measures 5034 par 67 and is a challenging test for any level of golfer. Great course with great views

The course is challenging as it is very hilly but there is amazing views from the 8th green and the 9th is a fun challeng with such a big drop down to the hole. There is great views of the sea and the mountains and the castle.

Nearly had course to ourselves after 4pm, superb views of mountains and sea for most holes.although no bunkers, the layout still presented a good challenge.Stone circle, slate outcrops and ancient trackways made the course unique and unusual.Fairways in excellent condition. The 8th hole is spectacular.

Just a quick note to say that I played a round on this course during our holiday and I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The course is a good test of golf and the views from the castle round to the Snowdon massif are stunning. The 8th hole rising up to the elevated green was memorable and difficult! I hope to return one day.

Stunning backdrop and some challenging if quirky holes! Don't be fooled by short distance, number of holes, or out of way nature of the course, well worth a visit and I will certainly be back.

You have a great course there, your hospitality, food, drink and golf course are a tribute to the hard work you have obviously put in. On monday your greens were of a higher standard than a very prestigious West Mids golf course had on friday, well done Lolo and Non from John & Robin
