This course, designed by the internationally renowned Donald Steel is set along the River Crane. It features the contours and lakes of the rolling countryside and is named after the majestic river, which comes into play on many of the holes. The fairways are brilliant. Most else pants and the Greens are awful touching on the ridiculous.

Given it was the middle of January, the course was in good condition, overall a very enjoyable round of golf.

The Valley course is generally in good condition. The course has some testing holes, even more so if the wind is in the wrong direction ! It has a tendancy to get a little boggy in places if a lot of rain has fallen, however, this is generally out of the way of the fairways and greens. All in all, well worth the money with the deals you can get online.

Very Good Course, gives you options off the tee. Good mix of parkland and water features. Greens are good, and can be tough and undulating.

I thought that the course was in very good condition. The greens were fantastic and i highly recommend playing the course. The Clubhouse is very nice and you have great views out over the course whilst sat in the Clubhouse. The food was very good. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. It was also very nice to see the manager interacting with the customers.

Two societies on today but apart from a slow round still a good course for £22 each, greens were on the slow side but otherwise in good order. And to top the day off we had two free flybys from the Red Arrows!

Course was in very good order apart from the 18 green which looks to have been vandalised in some way. Course was surprisingly quiet but apart from the heavens opening near the end I thoroughly enjoyed the day especially the 17 which just looks great from the tee box.

I played this course on a rainy day in March. The only thing I cold recommend was the fantastic cooked breakfast.

PLayed this course on a recent tour and not a bad word to be said. Nice layout and in good shape. The clubhouse and staff are of high standard. Highly recommended.

To me I was very disappointed with my day here. OK it was in March, in fairly strong wind but I would not go rushing back for another round. Due to the weather the ground was rather soft but will not complain about that, but to area was just too open
