A very friendly course from start to finish and that makes a real difference for nomadic visitors. I really enjoyed the course, helped by playing well, the holes make you play thinking golf as the course is not long but it requires plenty of shot making. The course played better than it looked slightly longer fairway grass was balanaced with shorter rough and the greens played consistantly. A credit to all the staff for both the course and the service.

No Guinness in the bar. Not a good move! Course was very wet - but it is Wales so what was I expecting!

Played both courses recently as a guest.
Preferred the more interesting, easier and more scenic Buttons course, whose greens were in better condition than Mac. The Mac had a few blind tee holes, up and then downhill, which would annoy the first timer. It was windy as most holes were exposed.
Overall, enjoyable and pleasant.

Played the mackintosh 26/07/12 absolutely brilliant course, stunning clubhouse, bar, excellent facilities,im a beginner to golf & really enjoyed the round, scored 102, £15 with a member is great too (if you know a member) even had a chap come round on a buggy selling water(hot day) I found the course not too difficult with regards to the size of the fairways off the tee, but is still a challenging course, highly recommended.
