Open Course (Cotgrave Place) The Open course comprises a front nine built around a stunning lake and a back nine featuring mature trees and open fairways. 18 holes. Par 70. 6302 yards. Parkland. Masters Course (Cotgrave Place) The Masters course is designed in part by Peter Alliss and combines ancient hedgerows and undulating fairways with large greens and strategically placed water hazards. 18 holes. Par 69. 5933 yards. Parkland.

Directions:
From the North – leave the M1 Motorway at junction 26 onto the A610. Follow signs for Nottingham, then take the ring road (A6514 signposted ring road, Derby), and then follow signs for the A52 to Grantham. The golf club is signposted off to the right from the A52, just before Radcliffe. From the South – leave the M1 Motorway at Junction 21a onto the A46 (signposted Newark). After approximately 20 miles, turn left signposted Cotgrave. Go through the village and about a mile the other side, you will find the golf club on the left hand side.

Midweek cost: Open: £22.00 per round Masters: £21.00 per round

Played here and got the course which used to be 9 holes and has been extended. Charged us full price(£30) and all the greens had been spiked, shocking condition. We travelled from Sheffield to play but if they had told us when we rang up to book about the greens we wouldn't have bothered. Some nice holes but the greens just spoilt it. You could hit the green in regulation then 3 putt, making the game twice as hard. We actually complained after but the person who deals with this sort of thing wasn't there, apparently. I also emailed to complain and got no reply. The best thing for me was the Starter/marshall who was a genuinely nice guy but even he didn't make it worth £30, £15 would have been about right.
