The BEST pay and play course I've ever played!! Try to play midweek as the course is quieter with less hackers. Carved through woodland it reminds me of walking around Wentworth and for £14.00 a round you'll never be disappointed!!!!
Go and play it!!!!!

Excellent value for money. Fairways and greens in good condition for time of year, few wet patches on some green, nothing major.
Putts running true.

I love this course,it does have generous fairways. The holes are well laid out, scenery wise I would say the best in the county.
The drainage has improved greatly, the only letdown is some of the bunkers.Jeff the club pro is a really nice chap, and the staff are really friendly.
You will pay a lot more for a lot less elsewhere.

The layout of this course is fantastic with well defined fairways & the greens were in the best condition I have seen in the past 15 years. Unfortunately the poor state of the bunkers are spoiling an otherwise enjoyable golfing experience, if these were improved I believe this would be one of the best municipals in the Midlands.

Corby is a public golf course and it is in a challenging woodland. It has some hillside "T" and long par 4 and five holes a test for any handicaper. Ive played many course but this is my favourite.

Esdtablished for over 50 years this course is undulating with mature trees and some minor water hazards. Wide fairways make this a good course for rookies.

This is a public course and I play this every year.
I look forward to playing this every time as for the average golfer you can come of with a good score here.
But like most golf courses you still have to be at your best or it can punish you.
If you like playing different courses you would be silly to miss this one out.

Nice course however not looked after. Open in winter when should be closed due to bad weather. Very boggy after heavy rain and suffers from poor drainage.

played this course on a rainy day and the course was well drained no lying water on fairways or greens i felt the front 9 was more challenging than the back 9 i agree with previous comment about the score cards needing some form of map to let u no where the holes shape as a few of them i had to rely on team mates describing where to hit, the 18th is a nice hole and reachable easily in 2 for long hitters but you might need some oxygen by the time youve got to the top of the hill where a good size green awaits you. i look forward to playing again in the summer where the greens will be lightning quick

This course has come a long way over the last couple of years, ie: better tees and drainage.

This is listed as a great course designed by Tony Jacklin, And a tough test of golf for all standards.
From the moment i stepped onto the first tee i was thinking mmm nice wide fairway, and that continued for most of the par 4/5's, there are at least 2 or 3 driveable par 4's for the long hitter and i came close on a couple of occasions.
The first dislike of this course came at the 3rd where my ball rested a few yards off the fairway in the rough in a massive clump of grass cuttings and after this hole it happened twice more with me noticing the large amounts of cut grass on many holes. My 2nd gripe is that virtually all but the last hole had bunkers on the fairways where your drives reach and many bunkers surrounding the greens, i hit more sand on this round than in my last 4 rounds, although my bunker play has come on leaps and bounds. The fairways were in good condition i thought and i noticed that most people repair their divots and repair the pitch marks on the greens which leads me to saying that i thought the greens were in good shape and challenging.
One thing was a bit annoying.... the score card had no map or legend showing the holes and how they dog leg etc and with only a few on the occasional tee made negotiating some holes difficult especially if the group ahead got too far in front.
Some of the rough was unplayable as i found to my cost on thepar 3 12th where my ball was 10 feet left of the green in a mountain of rough and thus a 5. Some good water hazards both lateral and normal with quite a few holes having out of bounds.
One really good thing i saw when going into the pro shop to get me green fee was a large bag filled with different irons of all makes being offered as testers, i liked that idea.
On the whole if i were to mark it out of 10 i'd give it a 7 as it has potential.
