What the club says: Cathedral Course
The front nine boasts the 601 yard par 5 5th known as the 'Mother' with water down both sides it will challenge even the best golfer. This is sandwiched between two formidable par 3's over water which make the first nine one of the toughest in sussex. The back nine is more subtle with two par 5's reachable in two for the more adventurous and the short but deceptive 15th, framed with 300 Portland stones, and surrounded by sand.
The Tower has a good balance of holes which make for a more forgiving alternative to the Cathedral. However, there are still plenty of challenges from the picture postcard third to the dog-legg seventh. Water comes more in to play on the back nine with sixteen and seventeen running alongside the Braemere Rife.
As a recent member, the Tower course is a well maintained fair and uncomplicated test for ones skills. The Cathedral course on the other hand is a longish technical course which is not well maintained...letting down a potentially challenging course that you'd be chuffed to score well as some fairways are IMO just too tight.. or poorly maintained (be prepared to loose balls!). Although the greens are very good indeed and quick.
Otherwise friendly people and excellent facilities.
A member here and course is good. Bunkers let it down a bit but other than that it's a lovely one to play

A very forgiving course when your game is struggling, with wide fairways and large greens. It is still a challenge though with ponds and trees to avoid. A really good course to give you confidence and feel good factor going into your next round.

Great course if you love water hazards. To be fair, if you hit the ball straight and course manage, it's not the most challenging of courses. The fairways were ok and the greens weren't bad. Some interesting par 3's, at one point I thought I could have been in the states.
Cathedral has 13 holes with water and a 600 yard par 5 waterlined on both sides :/
Club also has good driving range, par 3 course and large practice green and chipping green

Conditons were a little challenging with thick mist shrouding the course, however given the amount of recent rain it played very well, particularly the greens.

Very good, very friendly people. Excellent value for money
