Hilly (13holes going up!) but nice. Def worth a round. Watch out for the 200yrd blind par 3... Got to be a contender for hardest par 3 in Derbyshire??!

Overall this course is not for the faint hearted, Hill's so steep you barely struggle to walk up them if you are not either very young or very fit and because of how the course is laid out they cannot provide buggies.
Although this is a great test of golf for a low handicap player (not myself), i believe there is alot better in the area that you can play for half the price.

Finally got to play this course last winter even though it's only a few miles from where I live. Not for the faint hearted or unfit! Starts off fairly flat and then climbs steeply to Everest like heights and then drops down again. Has got everything you could ask for in a course. Has got greens and tee boxes perched precariously on the sides of the hills, a huge par 3, long downhill par 4's where you can really open the shoulders and vicious sloping fairways. Home of possibly the nastiest little par 3 I've ever played, a tiny thin green - miss left and it's an impossibly steep chip down and miss right and you're 50 yards down in the valley! Brilliant.
Lovely clubhouse and really friendly pro-shop.

Some tricky holes, test of stamina 11 holes going up 6 going down. Enjoyable but would not want to do it regular

Difficult course for a high handicap player. Many blind tees and difficult approach shots. But, a very enjoyable round with nice views from the top of the hills.

Not for the beginner. A difficult course as most of the front nine is uphill. Interesting course with a good mixture of par 3 & 4 holes. There are currently plans to buy additional land around the 17th and 18th and this will avoid the crossover that slows down play.
