the only golf course i've been to and been given a course planner as part of welcome to your first round. Front 9 good fun, back 9 much flatter and an easier 9. All round very good.

Short and sweet - Chartridge is a nicely laid out course, which is not too long and would suit high handicappers or those wanting a quick round. Green fees are very reasonable and, for the cost, the course is generally in pretty good condition. Last time I was there, one of the holes was udner reconstruction and nobody in the pro-shop bothered to let us know, which was a little disappointing.
If you are looking for a real challenge, maybe look elsewhere, but for a quick and enjoyable round, Chartridge is a decent option.

Played the course on a pleasant but chilly May day. The front nine demand some top notch accurate golf shots - I was found wanting. It will definitely be better played a second time with the knowledge of the slopes!
The back nine is waiting for the big hitter in you to reap the benefit of accurate long driving and birdies are there to be had.
All in all a delightful course and I look forward to playing it again.

Great setting, with some stunning views. Tight in places and the hill certainly comes into play so easy to get into trouble unless you know what you are doing. Course plays longer than the distance suggests. Green keeping top notch with some lightning sloping greens. Watch out if putting from above the pin on the 8th & 10th – you have been warned. Very friendly and welcoming so highly recommended.

Chartridge is a good course, the first 9 holes are the more challenging, with a number of hills and sloping fairways. The back nine are almost a reward for completing the front 9. The open up to be a very enjoyable parkland style 9 holes.
