This is a first class facility on the up. The course is set over a large expanse of beautiful countryside and offers a challenging yet very fair round for pros and high handicappers, with various tees making the course a different experience for both. A lot of work has been carried out recently on improving bunkers and fairways and the course seems to be getting better every week. Recommended highly.Reviewer Rating

Undergoing refurbishment of course, still working on some bunkers but did not affect play, greens were rolling well and played true, practice facilitys and club house were superb and would play again. Although there is a lot of bunkers if you play sensitivley you can avoid them, well worth a visit and found the staff very good.(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 75 Handicap: 5.4)

The greens were good but with a bit of dew for the first 6 holes as the greenkeepers were unable to cut them until late due to the overnight frost.
The fairways were undulating and surprisingly firm for November - which was good as quite a few of the par 4's were over 400yrds
As mentioned in previous reviews, there is a lot of bunker refurbishment going on at the moment - however a lot of the bunkers are not really in play for the more accomplished golfer. It will be interesting to see if the club restores all the original bunkering as that will come with a hefty price tag.
The staff were all very welcoming and the practice facilities were first class - all in all a very enjoyable day
