water leak from drain on 8th made whole right hand side unplayable - even the bunker was full and brimming with water.

Perfect for beginners

As an absolute beginner, this is perfect. Driving range, short game area and putting green. Mix of interesting Par 3s and some challenging (frustrating!) par 4s to practice long drives and plenty of hazards. Really friendly, informal environment and pro-shop. Reasonable public transport options.

Great for beginners

Excellent course for those starting out. Good greens and testing holes make for a perfect 9 holes to begin honing your skills.
CLub is friendly and the pace of play is good too.

Great for beginners

In my view, if you are just starting out in golf then this is a very accessible and friendly course/club to use. The holes aren't too long or challenging on the whole and you can enjoy the round less worried about people following behind you whilst you are still picking up the game.

Driving range facilities absolutely awful and in poor condition, it is essentially a large practice net and not as they would have you believe, a driving range. Very disappointing and wont be back.

A solid little 9-hole suburban course with tight but fair fairways, nothing spectacular but certainly a good course for beginners with good value of 18 holes for £15 and a club shop and cafe on-site. We played an early morning winter round so the course was a little wet, muddy and boggy to start with but dried out a bit as we went round with some swirling winds. I generally thought the course played fair on the way round and would recommend the course to beginners or novice players looking to brush up their game.

A very simple layout for a golf course. A couple of decent par fours to satisfy long hitters. Not really complicated and little imagination went into the course design. Exceptions may include hole seven, with a narrow fairway - lined on either side by a bank and the rough, and probably nine with easy access to the wide green prevented by a- has to be surmounted- water hazard that surrounds its frontage. Inconsistent greens. Some playing hard and fast, others not, with one actually water logged! Topography general plain without hills. Around two holes with flags not visible from tee box. Slightly dispersed bunkers without much depth or difficulty to come out of. Generally forgiving fairways as roughs and trees and not too dense in most areas. Greens are generally large. Course signage consistent but could be better. Course not too busy but a road runs across the course and golfers need to cross over to the other side to play holes seven and eight, before going back to hole nine. I played over 18 holes with the back nine expectedly playing much quicker. A few fairways parallel to each other, hence wide hitters could find their balls on adjacent fairways. Straight and accurate golfers would most likely find course too simplistic. Good for beginners and those who want to improve their game.

Good and solid course, tight fairways! Be accurate with your drives. Watch out for other golfers as well, playing on your right and left hand sides. Good facilities and helpful staff. Recommended!

Not the best kept fairways, too much mown grass left behind. Very flat. Greens weren't too bad. Best thing (or worst?) is the narrow fairways. Public 18 hole courses are often very forgiving in the width of fairways but not here. You'll need accurate tee shot so its a good practice experience. On the other hand, with such a compact course this leads to a lot of other players on your fairway! Better 9 holes in North London but worth a look.

It's an urban golf course and the fairways are narrow, but if you live in South West London it's really convenient, easy to get on, cheap and it makes you hit the ball straight.

Its a nice training course which you can go round quickly. Not too busy if you go early doors so great for practising short game on the course if there's no one behind you.
