Catterick Golf Club
Leyburn Road, Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire, DL9 3QE United Kingdom
Originally laid down in 1930 and redesigned in 1938 by the renowned Arthur Day, the Catterick course has undergone a series of developments that have increased its sophistication, enhanced its challenge and heightened its appeal.
Cunning and subtle design is now the hallmark of the 6378-yard, Par 71 course. Strategically placed bunkers and cleverly guarded enlarged greens work with the natural hazards of the undulating terrain to create a tough but rewarding test of skill for all standards of golfer.
The names of the holes give a hint of the hazards to be encountered when playing them. ‘Heartbreak Hill’, ‘Windy Corner’ and ‘Devil’s Elbow’, speak for themselves and give an indication of the challenge provided.
With many fairways lined by mature oaks, elms, copper beeches and conifers, the course is a delight to play.Book a Tee Time

A Challenging course, especially from the tee with thought required for both length (up and down hill approaches) and lie, especially from the tee. Unfortunately the greens were in rather poor condition, even allowing for the spring conditions, very sandy with 'lumps' missing which added a certain lottery to longer putts! Overall an enjoyable round, and in the summer I'm sure some good scoring is possible with correct course management!

Catterick is an excellent course. A challenging course which requires players to be able to play a ball on an exact line. If you are off line off the tee you will be in trouble.

Lovely course.....but very tough. Great variation of holes, & an awesome clubhouse. The only drawback I can think of was poor tee-boxes.
