For December winter conditions, the course is still in good condition other than the bunkers which are muddy and stoney.

The course was overall good considering the weather we have had. Greens however were horrendously slow and lumpy.

Greens have improved nicely in the last couple of weeks. Bunkers very muddy after recent rains - even the new ones.

Course starting to improve after winter. Fairways in decent condition. A lot of bunkers have now been improved. Some greens still very "lumpy" but getting better.

Nice course. Well maintained. Good greens. Some challenging holes. One downside are the regular jams on the 4th hole - long par 3. Had 4 groups waiting on Saturday.

Played here with a member at the beginning of July so the round didn't cost me full price. The greens are perfect with a true consistent roll. Fairways are in good condition and I managed to find most of them which helped my enjoyment of the day. Not a very testing course but a fair few doglegs and water on it which makes it a good thinkers course. Only found 2 bunkers but they had a decent bed of sand in them. Course kept in a nice condition with decent size portions of food in the clubhouse. Very enjoyable.

Course in very good condition and clearly well maintained. Staff were welcoming and facilities were spot on. Green fee was a little overpriced.

A superb club in every respect. Well maintained fairways and greens combined with excellent facilities in the club house. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful.

I might be a little harsh here due to the poor weather conditions prior to playing. The greens were appalling, to put 3 feet I nearly needed a fully swing as the greens were really soft & the grass was long too. Saying that this is one of the better Crown Golf courses that I have played. I never used the bar as I was in a rush to avoid most of the evening traffic home. The pro shop is well stocked & was very helpful about my booking. I will be looking forward to a future game here as it is the best local Crown course to me

A Crown course and in my opinion one of the better ones. Well maintained with good variety in hole lengths and types - lovely views over the marina and harbour. "Signature" holes are 4&5, both over lakes - 4 is a long par 3 and 5 is a sharp dogleg par 4. 15&16 are a couple of very nice par 5s. Worth a trip South for those of you based in Surrey & Berkshire (much better than Wickham, it's Crown neighbour).

Quite pricey at £40 a round but very well kept course with great greens. Overall a good course some great holes and an easy par 4 on the 9th which is great fun!
