The nature of the slopes, and the tricky greens ensure that at no time can you take a hole for granted, and attention will have to be paid at all times to keep your score down. But the beauty is that scores take second place to the fun, and clever design of the course. You will have to draw on every club, and conjure up many new shots to tackle this course. You will leave with a feeling of golf satisfaction because this is how golf should be played !

Golf course review of Campsie Golf Club

Played Campsie after a LOT of rain had fallen in the area and was a little worried that the course might be closed. Certainly all of the buildings associated with the course were and there was no one around, so we took a chance and just played it anyway.

The fairways were very damp underfoot, but generally the greens had stood up to the rain pretty well.

The course itself is a wonderful place to play with exceptional views, and at £15 for a midweek round there's almost no reason for not wanting to come and play here.
