Good course, enjoyable layout
Value for money was good through an online booking site and the course was in decent condition, some areas were GUR but this didn't impact on play and I like to see this rather than damaged areas be left to worsen beyond repair. Greens aren't the fastest but run true. Only one par 5 but the course is a decent yardage and fairway bunkers, dog legs, changes in elevation and mature trees make for an interesting challenge. The 178 yard par 3 with water all the way down the left is also a test of nerve. Facilities seem very good albeit we didn't use them. Ball seemed to pick up mud without the course seeming boggy so question marks over how well it drains in winter.Reviewer Rating
