I play this course quite regularly as I am a relative beginner, it\\\'s ideal for players of that standard with good facilities in terms of driving range with auto tees. Some of these reviews are quite harsh, if you come to a 9 hole public course, what do you expect? Not gonna be Augusta National!! The holes are a mix, easy 300 yard par 4 to start but the got some tricky holes later on that require good long tee shots with little margin for error. Also one plus side is, if you look hard enough you can find plenty of balls. Greens are in good nick and the fairways are fine in my opinion. Perfect course for a couple of hours practice on the weekend.

very basic 9 hole course with a great 9th hole, tough choice from the tee then a wedge over a river can break your round.

Not a bad nine holes in spite of what it has to put up with. Its crammed into a small space in Bromley, surrounded on all sides by concrete. And as a consequence is very busy and often vandalised. Has an excellent driving range and decent cafe, but is all to often the pay and play facility of the the denim army. The club actually has a good membership with weekly competitions throughout the year, and you never know what sort of condition the course will be in. I've played it many times and at times have been both appalled and impressed with the greens. So its a bit of an enigma in my book - I've had peaceful, enjoyable rounds here on a well-kept course on a quiet midweek morning, and I ve had slow, hectic, noisy rounds, on a tatty course on a summer weekend afternoon. But here is the thing - it is not cheap (compared to other courses in the area that I consider far superior) - despite what anyone tells you. And there are rarely twilight deals and no reduction in the winter. You can do better.

For a turn up and play this course is in good condition. Not the longest 9 holes but some thinking needs to be done especially on the 9th.

I really did not enjoy playing here. The course is not kept in good condition, especially the fairways which were very dry and hard, and balls kept lying on divots. The greens were fine though. It was quite busy with slow play. There are some tricky holes, with thick rough which are very unforgiving. It is quite relaxed in terms of etiquette and dress code, which is good for informal play, but means there are is some raucous behaviour around!
