What the club says: Bridge of Allan Golf course provides an interesting and enjoyable challenge to all who play it. The low handicapper will need to work hard at their game to come in with par, and yet the high handicap golfer is accommodated by a course that will let them keep their ball in play. The course is 5120 yards; Par 66; SSS 66; SSS 68 (Ladies).

Amazing views

Course condition superb. Very tricky test starting with an uphill 200 yd par 3. Very hilly with many hanging lies and stone wall hazards across the fairways on a couple of holes. We enjoyed a well balanced doubles match play and glad we gave the course a try.

9 hole course played twice. Excellent course. Golf partner and I both thought best greens we had played on this year. Very hilly and quite short but really good. Quite a challenge for two 20plus handicappers but very enjoyable.
Plenty car parking vg clubhouse and outdoor patio area food excellent.
Honesty box in operation if you start before 12:00

Nice course, in good condition. Only 9 holes and very hilly but the views are outstanding. The Par 3 1st is one of the most difficult I've played. No Par 5s so it's not a long course. Facilities seemed poor, club house was closed when we played.

Overall I enjoyed it

Lovely location for a golf course, and from the 3rd tee there are panoramic views to be had. As for the course itself, it is a lot, lot tougher than the lengths on the scorecard suggests. There are blind tee shots, a couple of walls guarding the fronts of greens, and a few tight fairways as well.

The greens were a bit soggy in places, especially on the excellent (very) downhill par 3 5th, but that could be explained by the huge amount of rain in the area recently.

Worth a trip to play here, but it helps if you are part mountain goat as there are a few climbs to be had.

Overall course is in excellent condition with greens lush for this time of year. Club house is still under repair from fire damage so can't comment on that. One of my favourite courses *****

First time playing the course and was very impressed, the holes and scenery down the valley were breathtaking and received some invaluable advice from two members before heading out. Well worth a visit if in the area.

Nice course in good condition - spoilt slightly by the wind and the incline initially - but thereafter nice course with accuracy over power a key in many of the holes.
