A fair test of golf for golfers of varying ability, being neither too hard or too easy. Quite a few of the par 4's are in easy reach when the ground is firm and the wide fairways help those occasional (or regular) off centre hits. Greens not always in the best of condition, undertandable for a municipal really, but overall can't complain. The bunkers were in desperate need of some sand when I last played in November 2010. The course is still maturing, so it should get tighter in the next few years. Decent value for money, especially the midweek 4 ball with 2 buggies for £80.

Midweek Price is £17.50 and you can play 10 holes and have your receipt stamped for another 10 holes credit. 20 holes for the price of 18!

I have played this course regularly for many years and it has matured into ann excellent test for all levels of golfer. Tight fairways lined with mature trees and well-placed bunkers all over the course.

Great course to say it is a municipal. The trees have now matured very well and make for a challenging course. The course will work your fitness along with your golf skills. You have the full range of straight holes, short holes, flowing right, flowing left, and tee off on high and with the up hill challenges. It can get over used and when wet the green do get some soft spots but there are some great green staff that ensure the course is in its best condition. Excellent value for money.

Played last weekend, greens are a bit rough and some areas are damp but in good shape regardless.

course in good nick for time of year,greens bit lumpy but just been tined,ditch that runs
through 5 hole now with water so if you fall short splash.
