This parkland course is considered by many as one of the finest public courses in Scotland. Host to some top Scottish and European competitions, the long fairways are flanked by hundreds of tall beach trees and crossed by a winding burn. With only two par 4's under 400 yards and one of the hardest par 3's in Ayrshire, it is a real golfing challenge.

Entering Ayr * At traffic signals continue forward (signposted Ayr) * At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A79 (signposted Town Centre) * At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto King Street - A719 (signposted Ring Road West) * Keep left to cross River Ayr A719 * At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Alloway Place - A719 (signposted Seafront) * At traffic signals continue forward (signposted Turnberry) * Arrive at KA7 4DU

Course is improving every week, the greens are getting faster and the rough is beginning to grow up a bit more making the course more of a challenge.

This is easily one of the best coarses i have play, lovely parkland coarse with some great holes, greens were nice

a superb municipal parkland course with some tricky and also beautiful holes. Well worth a visit, you will be more than glad you did!!!

This is a parkland course and so not typical of the area. It provides a varied challenge to the golfer notably at the par 5 18th.
Well maintained, and enjoyable to play. Excellent value for the fee.
Clubhouse is basic.
Can be busy but there is a second course 'Seafield' adjacent and while rather shorter is quite tricky with interesting holes. (Even Cheaper)

Lovely course to play anytime of the year, easy walk great condition some blind holes which made it all the more intresting, nice food friendly staff.

Excellent Course - could do with some distance markers and some idea of the course layout on the scorecard would help, particularly on the 16th.

this is the first time we have played the west coast of scotland and this was the last course we played on our short break. for me it was superb not my score but the lay out of the course.
