Belfairs golf course was opened in 1923 as a nine hole course. Belfairs Golf Club was founded in 1926 to coincide with the opening of the 18 hole course.

Excellent value for a public course. Some real effort has been made by ground staff on the tees and greens. Greens in great condition, unfortunately as this is also a park the fairways do not get as much attention. Nice open front 9 to get you warmed up for the tight tree lined back 9, Some nice challenges for all standard of golfers.

Combination of open parkland front 11, then into the trees for the final 7. Remarkably good greens, especially considering this is a public course, and just £20 at weekends.

Tees not bad, Greens very good. Fairways on the front nine ok, not so good on the back grass very sparse in areas.

Played yesterday and while the greens are excellent the fairways are shocking. As the course is also a park be aware of little oiks stealing your balls as they hide in the trees and dogs running everywhere.

A good public course but I'm surprised it is rated so highly. Some interesting holes and well established with good greens here and there. Public can be annoying but worth playing and good scoring possible.

Nice well established course, quite narrow fairways on the back 9. Part of Belfairs woods, so plenty of tree lined fairways.

front nine is very reasonable fairways are average but greens are in good nic but the back nine lets this course down having said this it is a public course.
