Golf course review of Bearwood Lakes Golf Club

What a great course. I was invited for the 2nd time on a corporate function and I love playing here. I didn't score that well (again!) but I can't blame the course, it's brilliantly maintained and a delight to walk around the forests and of course lakes. Some upgrade work is going on right now as I believe they are looking to host a PGA tour hear one day. I hope they do because the venue and club house are 1st class.

This club is always mentioned in the best course lists in magazines and its easy to see why. You feel a million miles away from everything when playing here, the greens were in great condition and the course is one of the prettiest ive ever seen.

Played here on the Trilby Tour. Played rubbish but cannot blame the course which was first class. Great greens quick with plenty of breaks and a great place to play.

Played 10th August. As ever stunning views, great condition, sprinkler heads have distances on them to front and centre, and pin positions set out on scorecard (can make a big difference). Greens treated about 1st August so slower than usual which, to some, could be a relief. Absolutely fantastic.

Well this is a Golf Course that only about 10 mins away from me and i didnt think you could find such a stunning Golf Courses near reading.

Bearwood Lakes is an oasis of calm and beauty set in the midst of one of the most commercially vibrant areas of Europe. With a backdrop of mature oak, lime and beech and surrounded by Scots pine, it's undulating terrain rolls along the banks of Bearwood Lake, with dramatic views of the whole Bearwood Estate.
The course is maintained to the highest possible standards

Beautiful course in immaculate condition, really testing in places but playable by all handicaps. This is a members only club so you need to know a member to play there. easy wal;king.
