Great Course, testing..just needs investment
Five of us travelled 30 plus miles to once again play the Notleys after a period of four years. We had a great discount price of ?14. Previous rounds here, had seen badly cut fairways and poor greens, however, this time there was a great improvement in playing conditions and although some fairways needed a good cut, it's a fantastic course, challenging and physically demanding at times. The staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. Although the clubhouse is a little tired, I believe some investment would elevate this course to another level. We are going back very soon to enjoy the experience again.Reviewer Rating

Two beautiful courses although the Valley is the better of them being longer and tighter.
Both in amazing condition and very playable.
Excellent off course facilities with large spa, tennis courts etc and a beautiful clubhouse with various places to seat both inside and out with great views.

Valley Course - Loved it.
Played after a heavy nights rain but the course was in excellent conditions. Greens were obviously a little slow but very true. The par 3 holes as a collective are absolutely magnificent. Facilities and staff in the Pro-Shop were excellent.Only negatives - signage between holes needs significant improvement. The many wood sleepers on bridges are lethal when wet.
Would I return - definitely, without hesitation

Picturesque challenging course
A very enjoyable course to play, if a little unforgiving at times. Lots of steps up to the 7th tee but the view is worth the climb. Really well maintained course and lots of beautiful sceneryReviewer Rating

Give it a miss in the winter
Typical woodland/farmland course, fairways covered in leaf and not cut. wet underfoot and greens "soggy". Mind you we played the "Valley Course" so it's our own fault.I'm guessing it's better in the summer.

Always improving
I play regularly on both of the Barnham Broom courses. The team of greenskeepers do a fantastic job keeping fairways, rough, bunkers and greens in great condition. The Hill course is, in my opinion, the easier of the two courses. The variety of challenges that the various holes present keep it interesting.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 96 Handicap: 24.5)

Brilliant hospitality and venue
Brilliant hospitality and venue only let down by the recent severe weather. Both courses were extremely wet, virtually unplayable in parts, indeed some holes were closed. Didn't distract from a cracking overnight stay. Rooms, food and staff were 1st class, couldn't fault at all. Will definitely return in better weather. Great value for money package.(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 92 Handicap: 20.4)
