Barnehurst Golf Club
Designed by world famous course architect James Braid in 1904, Barnehurst was built within the grounds of the historic Barnehurst Manor House, of which remains are still integrated into the layout of several holes. Whilst being 9 holes, there are different tees for the front and back nine holes, making for an interesting round 18 hole round.

the course is very good , some of the greens get covered in winter, so you could loose your ball but during the summer this is great and very near to south east london ,breakfast great for money

The course is quite tight and doesnt feel balanced correctly (220 yards par 3 with a 240 par 4). However, despite the cold weather it was in surprisingly good shape.

Nice course, unfortunately there is only a nine hole course. Not bad at all really and they seem to be looking after the course more so nowadays.
I play this course with a friend thats just started and he likes this also, not too demanding but very well situated in woodland.
There is a lot of debris from the trees etc at certain points of the course but nothing that causes trouble really.

This is an small relative easy course where you play the same 9 holes twice, from slightly different tees. Not one that I would play if I had a full day to play but for practice, or twilight price makes it ideal!

This is a 9 hole track with several excellent tests no matter what your handicap. Unfortunately the couincil owners do not spend enough to keep it to a quality standard, especially in the summer when the 14th club in the bag needs to be a hammer so that it is possible to get a tee in the ground.
