This was the first "course" I played when I took up the fantastic game of golf.
Set in the grounds of a grand country hotel this small quaint course is a pleasure to play for a quick round.
On the whole, it's a 9 hole par 3 with the 8th hole classed as a par 4 at 266 yards. Forget the drivers and big sticks, the vast majority of the holes are short, with the shortest hole (3rd) being a mere 79 yards in length.
With a total of 3022 yards and a SSS 55, this course is no Tour track. However, the delightful setting in beautiful peaceful countryside will appeal to lovers of the short game.
