Boasting picturesque views of the local countryside and beyond, this course is rather pleasing on the eye - that doesn't mean it can't throw up a challenge or two.

Golf course review of Auchenblae Golf Club

Auchenblae is a very pleasant 9 Hole Parkland Course which offers an intresting challenge to most levels of golfer. Although not a long course you need to be straight and quite brave at times with many well placed bunkers around the greens. The past three years have seen substantial tree planting which as they grow will increase the challenge.

The biggest letdown is the fact that there is no Clubhouse which is a big drawback.

For me the fact that it plans to remain a Nine Hole Course is a major advantage, juggling a busy work / family balance as so many of us do, the chance to go and enjoy a quick Nine holes even teeing off at Eight PM is a massive bonus.

If you are in The Auchenblae / Laurencekirk Area with a couple of hours to spare and fancy some peace and quite in a lovely setting give it a try.
